Job Function

To Take care all tasks related to administration of university workforce database, appraisal monitoring and leave management.

Responsibilities

Administration:

  1. Preparing and providing HR data analysis as required by the management.
  2. Coordinate with directors /deans for contract renewal of employees.
  3. Coordinate with PRO for renewal of visa, resident card etc.
  4. Coordination of travel booking as required. 
  5. Maintaining, updating the staff personal files as per the HR policy.
  6. Aid in the implementation of employee disciplinary codes by monitoring employee compliance to codes of conduct and ethics and identifying and reporting any variances.
  7. Ensure the effective and efficient utilization of HRMS and other software web tools. 
  8. Ensure that all information is correctly entered, updated and maintained.
  9. Assist in preparing, developing, implementing HR policies, procedures and processes.
  10. Assist and coordinate with other staffs in departments for managing the department smooth operations.

Leaves:

  1. Receive and process all staff leaves, get the intended approvals and ensure that they are duly recorded.
  2. Preparing Public Holidays announcement and any other announcement required by HR management.

Post Recruitment:

  1. Completing the joining formalities and orientation program for the new joining employees.
  2. Coordinate with PRO for completing medical, opening new bank account, resident card etc. for new joining employees.
  3. Coordinate with directors / deans for administering the probationary review time periods and providing the confirmation letter for employees.

Receive personal file of new joiners from recruitment section, enter the data in HRMS and maintain the personal files after insuring that all intended documents are attached. 

Experience

Candidates with relevant experience or experience in a closely related field are preferred

Skills

  1. Ability to work under pressure and to deal with different people. 
  2. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  3. Good knowledge of Oman Labor Law related to the employment, other issues etc.
  4. Good planning, organizational and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent communication and computer skills.
  6. Fluent in English and Arabic.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in HR or related Management field from an accredited university.
