Support the research project by assisting in laboratory experiments related to bioethanol production from lignocellulosic biomass waste using local fungi strains.
• Assist in conducting laboratory experiments related to bioethanol production from lignocellulosic biomass and agricultural residues.
• Prepare biomass samples using physical, chemical, and biological pretreatment methods.
• Perform enzymatic hydrolysis and microbial fermentation experiments according to established protocols.
• Prepare laboratory reagents, culture media, and chemical solutions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Assist in the optimization of experimental conditions for biomass pretreatment, hydrolysis, and fermentation.
A strong academic record with an interest in renewable energy, biofuels, or biomass conversion is desirable.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations.
Prepare progress reports and technical documentation as requested by the Principal Investigator.
Assist in literature reviews and the preparation of research manuscripts, conference abstracts, posters, and presentations.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on research progress and future experimental work.
