• Conduct laboratory experiments on bioethanol production from lignocellulosic biomass and agricultural residue feedstocks.
• Prepare biomass samples using physical, chemical, or biological pretreatment methods.
• Perform enzymatic hydrolysis and microbial fermentation experiments.
• Culture and maintain microorganisms used in ethanol fermentation.
• Monitor fermentation parameters such as pH, temperature, sugar concentration, and ethanol yield.
• Operate laboratory instruments including UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, Centrifuge, and Autoclave.
• Record experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately in laboratory notebooks.
• Assist in optimizing fermentation processes to improve ethanol productivity and conversion efficiency.
• Prepare technical reports, research summaries, and presentations.
• Conduct literature reviews on bioethanol production technologies and recent advances.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and biosafety regulations.
