Strategic Leadership and Positioning:
1. Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Outreach Department in line with the University’s overall strategy and priorities.
2. Strengthen the University’s regional and international visibility, reputation, and global positioning.
3. Develop and implement outreach strategies to enhance engagement with regional and international organizations and stakeholders.
4. Advise the Vice Chancellor on outreach performance, opportunities, and risks.
Rankings and Institutional Performance:
1. Oversee the University’s participation in international and regional ranking systems, including data collection, validation, and submission.
2. Develop and implement action plans to improve ranking performance indicators.
3. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to rankings, partnerships, and global engagement.
4. Conduct benchmarking against peer and aspirant institutions to identify areas for improvement.
Partnerships and International Collaboration:
1. Develop and manage local, regional, and international partnerships and institutional agreements.
2. Facilitate international academic collaboration, including joint programs, student and staff exchanges, and research partnerships.
3. Identify and cultivate relationships with regional and international organizations, government bodies, and industry stakeholders.
4. Ensure coordination with relevant colleges, departments, and administrative units on outreach, partnership, and ranking-related matters.
5. Report and monitor the outcomes of partnerships and international collaborations to insure effectiveness.
6. Lead and coordinate efforts to obtain and maintain official recognition of the University and its academic programs by relevant ministries and authorities in other countries, supporting the University’s international positioning and student recruitment.
7. Coordinate and oversee training and short-term academic programs for international students hosted by the University, in collaboration with relevant colleges and administrative units.
