To conduct collection of serological data from the Royal Hospital using the Al-Shifa System operated by the Oman Ministry of Health.
The Research Assistant will be responsible for extracting and collecting serological data and test results from the Al-Shifa electronic health record system at the Royal Hospital. This role supports the project's objectives in serology-based research and analysis.

• o Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in achieving the aims and goals of the research, including:
  o Participate in the field collection of patient serological data from the Al-Shifa system at the Royal Hospital.
  o Filter and classify serological data based on defined research criteria and laboratory results.
  o Fill consent form and questionnaire from patients
  o Help in the documentation required for research report.
  o Support laboratory staff in data processing if required.
  o Ensure accuracy and completeness of data extracted from the Al-Shifa program.
  o Maintain confidentiality of patient data in compliance with Ministry of Health regulations.

• o Minimum 1 year of experience in fieldwork or clinical data collection.
  o Experience in Serology/Immunology laboratory operations within a high-volume clinical laboratory.
  o Familiarity with electronic health record systems (preferably Al-Shifa system).
  o Competent in data documentation, and ensuring uninterrupted laboratory operations.
  o Experienced in laboratory data collection
   

• o Excellent background in serology and immunology laboratory techniques.
  o  Ability to develop and maintain a research program 
  o Competence in IT skills and electronic data management systems.
  o Self-motivation with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  o Ability to show leadership in outreach activities.
  o Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
   

Bachelor's degree in biomedical science, serology.
