The Research Assistant (Technician) supports the research project “Microbial Environment of Public Toilets in Oman: Prevalence and Antibiotic Resistance Profiles of Uropathogenic Bacteria” (Project ID: BFP/URG/HSS/25/156) by carrying out routine microbiology laboratory work on the collected samples, including culturing, primary identification and sub-culturing of bacterial isolates, in the Microbiology laboratory (FOODMIC008).
The post-holder works under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, follows laboratory biosafety procedures, and keeps accurate records of all laboratory work.
