Establishes and maintains network performance by building network configurations, connections and troubleshooting network problems.

1. Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
2. Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
3. Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
4. Accomplishing information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
5. Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information, managing projects.
6. Designing and implements all Local and wide area (LAN and WAN) networks.
7. Anticipating communication and networking problems and implements preventive measures. 
8. Trouble shooting different types of networking (LAN and WAN) problems.
9. Dealing with all networking related complaints, such as setting configuration of share and/or networking printers and providing LAN access for new users etc.
10. Configuring different types of networking equipment such as firewall, Webfilter, routers, modems, access points, switches etc.
11. Monitoring WAN and LAN connections as well as ability to monitor ADSL and lease lines.
12. Troubleshooting networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
13. Investigating user networking problems, identifies their source, determines possible solutions, tests and implements solutions. 
14. Performing and coordinates software and application installation and upgrades. 
15. Ensuring timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability. 
16. Maintaining confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network. 

    17. Maintaining and provide technical support for CCTV system

    18. Maintaining and provide technical support for access control system.

    19. Maintaining and provide technical support on IP Telephone system.

    20. Apart from this any other duties and responsibilities related to your job / position can be added in the future by line manager.

Minimum 6 years of experience as full time “Network Engineer”

1. Bachelor degree from an accredited university in IT or Computer Science or related field. 

Certification in Network courses will be preferred
