Job Function

The Research Assistant will primarily support the research efforts of the principal investigator in a funded research project. This role involves conducting literature reviews, gathering and analyzing data, assisting in developing research proposals, and contributing to disseminating research findings through publications and presentations.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Coordination: Coordinate research activities, including scheduling meetings, arranging participant recruitment, managing research databases, and ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and research protocols.
  2. Assist in conducting literature reviews and summarizing key findings from academic articles.
  3. Support data collection through surveys, experiments, or fieldwork as needed.
  4. Analyze and organize research data using [software/tools].
  5. Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and publications based on research findings.
  6. Participate in team meetings, providing updates on progress and contributing ideas.
  7. Help with administrative tasks related to research, such as scheduling, organizing files, and maintaining records.

Ensure adherence to ethical standards and research protocols.

Experience

Candidates should have suitable experience in academic research or applied research settings and administrative coordination work.

Skills

  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) is a plus.
  2. Knowledge in research design, data collection, and analysis techniques.
  3. Strong interest in research and a willingness to learn new techniques.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Fluent in English(preferable).

Qualification

  1. A Bachelor’s degree program in [Any Field , e.g., Biology, Psychology, Economics, Engineering].
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous research experience or coursework related to the field is a plus but not required.
