Job Function
Will primarily support the research efforts of the principal investigator in the funded research project. This role involves data collection
Responsibilities
- Literature Review: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to gather relevant information and identify gaps in existing research within the field of Accounting & Finance.
- Data Analysis: Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate research methodologies and statistical techniques.
- Development of a Research Methodology: Execute data collection, developing the methods, and statistical analysis tools, and ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Results Interpretation and Discussion: Utilize statistical tools or qualitative analysis techniques to interpret research data. Assist in interpreting research findings and connecting them to the broader context.
- Publication Support: Contribute to the writing and editing of research papers, reports, and presentations for publication in academic journals, conference proceedings, and other scholarly outlets.
Project Coordination: Coordinate research activities, including scheduling meetings, arranging participant recruitment, managing research databases, and ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and research protocols
Experience
Experience in academic research or applied research settings is preferred.
Skills
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple aspects of the research project simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with participants, collaborators, and other stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to manage large datasets effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Qualification
A PhD or Master's degree in Business, Management, or a relatedfield.
